1-The ship

The Ovation of the Seas is a very large cruise ship, 1,142 feet long and 138 feet wide. The 4,180 passengers have access to 16 decks during the trip and are accompanied by 1,300 crew members. Among the 2,090 cabins, 1,570 have a balcony.

2-Adult entertainment

Royal Caribbean's entertainment on Quantum Class ships is exceptional. Ovation of the Seas features the famous North Star capsule, a glass bubble with a telescopic arm that rises 200 feet above the sea for 360-degree views. But also the 75-foot RipCord by iFLY free-fall simulator on deck 16.

You can shop in the Royal Escapade boutiques, play at the casino on deck 3, and in the evening see shows at the 1,300-seat Royal Theater on decks 4 and 5.

Enjoy the 2 swimming pools, 4 Jacuzzis, spa and solarium. And for sports you have the surf simulator, sports field, fitness room, climbing wall

3-Entertainment for children and teenagers

Kids are incredibly lucky to have 30 bumper cars at the Seaplex! For teens, on deck 15 the Fuel Teen Disco hosts dance contests, karaoke and late night disco parties. Arcade Video allows you to play video games. And the Living Room is perfect for playing foosball. The Adventure Ocean club welcomes 3/11 year olds for games and a daycare center takes care of children under 3.

4-Dining, bars and lounges

Vary your pleasures with the fifteen or so restaurants aboard the Ovation of the Seas! Silk, on deck 4, offers the best of Far Eastern cuisine. Sorrento's, on deck 4, is ideal for pizza and Italian specialties. Finally, the American Icon Grill is perfect for USA lovers.

Among the dozen bars and lounges of the Ovation of the Seas, the Café Two 70 is a must. It offers a 270° view through its bay windows on deck 5, while the Bionic Bar stands out with its two robotic bartenders who prepare cocktails. The Sky Bar on deck 14 is an open-air bar, just steps away from the pools.

5-Accommodations onboard Ovation of the Sea

Royal Caribbean is breaking new ground with the staterooms on Ovation of the Seas. The standard staterooms (161 square feet) have a virtual balcony and the outside staterooms (183 square feet) have a panoramic window. Balcony staterooms are 194 square feet plus a 54 square foot balcony. The cabins are equipped with twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed 72 inches wide.

The suites have a panoramic balcony with table and chairs, a king-size bed (72 inches wide), dressing room, bathroom with bathtub, living room with sofa, desk and home cinema.

6-Environment

To preserve the environment, Royal Caribbean applies its Save the Waves program on board to save water and energy, to recycle and reuse. Also, their Ocean Fund helps NGOs to preserve the oceans.
