The Jewel of the Seas is a ship of the Royal Caribbean cruise line. It is part of the Radiance class, was commissioned in 2004 and renovated in 2016. Like its sister ships the Serenade, the Radiance and the Brilliance it has vast open spaces on the sea.

The Jewel of the Seas is 961 feet long and 105 feet wide. The 2,112 passengers have access to 13 decks and are supervised by 859 crew members. On board, it has 1,055 cabins, 580 of which have balconies.
While cruising on the Jewel of the Seas, you can enjoy rock climbing, fitness, mini-golf, running, basketball, volleyball...
When night falls, you can attend Broadway shows, go dancing at the discotheque or try your luck at the casino.
For maximum relaxation, many treatments and massages are offered at the spa, you can also relax in the solarium, pool and Jacuzzis or enjoy the quiet of the library.
Babies from 6 to 36 months of age are supervised by trained staff at the daycare center and participate in fun early childhood games.
The Adventure Ocean youth program offers group games, arts and crafts for children ages 3 to 11. And the New Teen program is reserved for teenagers (12/17 years old), offering them age-appropriate activities without the presence of parents. They can play foosball or participate in musical evenings.
Also, the Adventure Beach is an aquatic complex with 1 pool and 1 slide and games in the water, reserved for children.
Royal Caribbean offers 8 restaurants and 6 bars on the Jewel of the Seas for dining and sipping drinks. The various restaurants offer international cuisine with quality service.
The Chops Grill offers grilled meats and seafood. The Windjammer Cafe is a buffet restaurant overlooking the sea, near the main pool on deck 11. And the Portofino allows you to taste the best Italian dishes, also with a view of the sea.
For a little sweetness and a good coffee, Café Latte-Tudes is perfect. The Shooner Bar is very popular with travelers for its musical atmosphere. And the Viking Crown Lounge is a panoramic lounge with a view of the sea, ideal for sipping a cocktail.
You'll stay in an ultra-comfortable cabin with a choice of twin beds or a king-size bed. You can also choose between an inside cabin, an outside cabin with sea view or a balcony. Cabins are on average 161 square feet and balconies are about 43 square feet.
For more comfort, you can book one of the different suites. The famous Royal Suite is very large, 1,152 square feet with a 323 square foot balcony, whirlpool bath, piano and concierge service.
Royal Caribbean's Radiance class ships have an environmentally friendly system with turbo electric machines.
Steam and gas turbines produce less nitrogen oxide emissions. The Jewel of the Seas is also designed to reduce fuel consumption.
