The Celebrity Ascent is the fourth ship in Celebrity Cruises’ Edge class, built at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire and launched in December 2023. With a length of 1,074 ft and a width of 128 ft, this cruise ship spans 17 decks and can accommodate up to 3,260 passengers in 1,646 cabins. The crew, consisting of 1,400 members, provides attentive, personalized service.
Among the ship’s standout features is the Magic Carpet—a movable platform that glides along the vessel, offering spectacular views while serving as a restaurant, bar, or embarkation area depending on its position. Designed for wellness enthusiasts, AquaClass cabins offer exclusive access to the spa. They measure approximately 247 to 269 sq. ft. and feature a private balcony of about 43 sq. ft. Guests can enjoy the SEA Thermal Suite or the Persian Garden—areas dedicated to relaxation with facilities such as hammams, salt rooms, infrared saunas, and therapeutic showers.
