For a more relaxed atmosphere, the outdoor restaurant serves grilled dishes with breathtaking views under the sun. The ship also includes three lounges and a bar. The main lounge hosts concerts and live entertainment.
You’ll stay in a cabin that matches the standards of a 5-star hotel—warm, stylish, and fully equipped. No matter your cabin category, you’ll enjoy air conditioning, Wi-Fi access, a flat-screen TV, and on-demand video, as well as 24/7 room service.
All staterooms have at least 205 square feet of space and include a private balcony or terrace. The Owner’s Suite is the most spacious, offering 484 square feet of luxury living space.
Like all ships in the fleet, Le Jacques Cartier is Clean Ship certified. In 2020, Ponant also received Green Marine certification. Both labels affirm the company’s commitment to environmentally respectful practices.
Ponant was the first cruise line to eliminate heavy fuel oil. It also works to reduce fuel consumption by limiting sailing speed and investing in hybrid propulsion systems.
Before approving any itinerary or excursion, the company conducts on-the-ground environmental assessments to minimize the ecological impact of its cruises on local regions, ecosystems, and communities.
