The Carnival Luminosa is 964 feet long and 105 feet wide. It has 16 decks, 12 of which are accessible to passengers. The ship welcomes 2,862 passengers in 1,130 cabins and suites. 662 cabins and 106 suites have balconies. 926 crew members provide onboard service.
Onboard the Carnival Luminosa, two pools and multiple whirlpools with loungers invite you to relax in the sun. One of the two pools, the Lido Pool, is equipped with a glass roof. In between calls, treat yourself to a relaxing interlude at the Cloud 9 Spa where you can enjoy treatment and massage rooms, a hammam, a sauna, a beauty salon... Other ship facilities include a casino, a nightclub, a theater on 3 decks, a comedy club, a library and a state-of-the-art gym.
While cruising aboard Carnival Luminosa, little ones are welcomed at the Zumbini Club (ages 2-5), NASA-themed Space Cruisers (ages 2-11) or Camp Ocean (ages 2-11). Professional counselors offer them a multitude of fun and creative activities every day. Teens are not left out of the Carnival Luminosa experience, meeting friends at Circle "C" (ages 12 to 14) and Club O2 (ages 15 to 17), enjoying age-appropriate entertainment and themed nights, karaoke and an arcade.
Carnival Luminosa offers 11 dining areas. Among the five main restaurants, the Lido Marketplace buffet restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including BBQ, pasta, pizza and Asian dishes, as well as options for children and dieters. The Swirl Ice Cream Parlor is an irresistible sweet break for all passengers, big or small. The six specialty restaurants include Bonsai Sushi Express for Japanese food lovers and Chef's Table gourmet restaurant.
Onboard the Carnival Luminosa, you can relax with a drink in one of the ship's 12 bars and lounges, such as the Piano Bar, Cruise the Vineyard for wine lovers or Master the Martini with a wide range of cocktails.
For your accommodations aboard the Carnival Luminosa, you can choose an inside, ocean-view, balcony or suite cabin, depending on your preference. Whichever you choose, you'll enjoy a comfortable, well-appointed room.
Carnival is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of its ships. The Carnival Luminosa is equipped with a scrubber to clean its exhaust fumes. It also has a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment system. In addition, all waste generated during your stay is sorted directly on the ship. Approximately 90% of the fresh water used during the cruise is produced on board using a seawater desalination system.
