4-Environment

As the first Princess Cruises ship powered by LNG, the Sun Princess significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions, aligning with the company's commitment to sustainable cruising. The vessel is equipped with an advanced air lubrication system that minimizes hull resistance, enhancing fuel efficiency by 5 to 10%. These innovations contribute to a more environmentally friendly voyage without compromising on comfort or luxury. Additionally, the ship utilizes shore power when docked, further reducing its environmental impact.
