Taiwan, an island with two faces

The tropical beaches of Kenting National Park in the south of the island are an invitation to relax. Don't forget to lay down your towel on the fine sands of Baisha, one of the world's most beautiful beaches. Before leaving Taiwan, treat yourself to a moment of cocooning at one of the Wulai or Beitou hot springs. After you've been pampered, visit the nearby traditional villages and watch a puppet show.

Taiwan: when to go?


Taiwan is a particularly popular destination for tourists, who flock here during school vacation periods. If you don't want to be elbow-deep in places of interest, it's best to plan your stay in Taiwan between September and October, when most holidaymakers are back home. In addition to the moderate crowds, the climate is pleasant. If you have the opportunity, you can also go to Taiwan a little earlier than others, i.e. in April or June. Chinese New Year is a time of celebration in Taiwan. To attend the various festivities organized to welcome the New Year in Taiwan, plan your trip between January and February.
